October 11, 2013-Kingston, NY to Islandia, NY

We had an easy day today and covered 144 miles on wheels and about 30 over the water on the ferry. We left Kingston, NY about 10:00 and rode over to Woodstock HD and picked up a shirt then finished the ride down the Hudson River Valley to I-84 towards Connecticut.  We went to Bridgeport, CT and caught the P. T. Barnum for the ride to Port Jefferson, NY.  It was an hour and a half ride packed in with about 85 other cars and trucks.  We covered about 30 miles and then went to Islandia, NY where we are spending the night.  We arrived here about 4:00 PM and ate dinner at TGIF.  Tomorrow we will check out Long Island with the other "Pumpkin Peepers".
