October 13, 2013-Million Vet March in Washington, DC

Well today started out with the Tea Party Express and Sarah Palin at the WWII Memorial.  There weren't a million vets there, but it was a spirited bunch that showed up.  The barriers came down and we visited the WWII Memorial and Vietnam Memorial and they finally took down the barriers at the Lincoln Monument. It was a misty day, but clearing and warming up. We rode down to Mt. Vernon and while the pull offs on the road were closed, Mount Vernon was open.  Tomorrow we head to Virginia Beach.
