October 16, 2013 - Lunch ride to the Outer Banks

Today I started off with a 2 mile walk up the beach and breakfast and then we loaded up and rode down the Back Bay to Knott's Island and took the ferry over to Currituk and then on down to Nag's Head.  It was up in the 70's so it was comfortable riding.  One of the ferry guys told us about a good seafood resataurant in Wanchese, so we ate at "The Fisherman's Wharf" right on the docks where the shrimp was being unloaded.  We had all the shrimp I could eat and headed back up the back bay road into Virginia Beach.  We even went by the home of of Monster Truck "Grave Digger"and his restaurant "The Digger Diner"! Tomorrow the bike gets it 6000 mile service since we got it 7 weeks ago.  We are just over 2600 miles in our trip so far.
